Lucca Summer Festival
The Lucca Summer Festival is a musical event held in Lucca since 1998.
The concerts are held mostly in July but there are also some dates in the months before or after.
The main location is Piazza Napoleone, but in the past they were also kept in conte Piazza Anfiteatro, Piazza San Martino or even the Porta Elisa Stadium (Fiorello in 2010).
The first concert of the Lucca Summer Festival it was that of Bob Dylan on July 6th, 1998

Lucca Summer Festival 2018 concerts and tickets
After the success of 2017 that saw the Rolling Stones on the stage of the Summer Festival, the 2018 edition promises to be spectacular again.
We will start on June 23rd with the concert of the Queens of The Stone Age.
Later it will be Johnny Depp with his Holliwood Vampires to cheer the audience Saturday, July 7th.

Lucca Summer Festival 2017 concerts
The twentieth edition promises to be one of the best editions.
We will start on Wednesday June 14th with the concert of the Greenday with the Rancids, another punk rock band of the 90s. The Greenday will then replicate the day after at Monza.
Tuesday 4th July it will be the turn of the Imagine Dragons. More information on the Concert of the Imagine Dragons of July 4th you can find them here.
THE'July 11th (always on Tuesday) will be the turn of Lp & Rag'n'bone Man. She is the singer-songwriter of Italian origin Laura Pergolizzi which has become famous with Lost on Youwhile he is Rory Graham
that has climbed the rankings with Human.
Just announced the date of the 15th of July with the name bomb Robbie Williams who returns to the stage of the Lucca Summer Festival after the 2015 edition. Together with him Erasure that will celebrate 30 years of career.
Great wait for the de boys The flight which will stop the July 21 in Lucca for the Magic Night Tour - Tribute to 3 Tenors.
The July 22nd another great date for the Summer Festival, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis they will be on stage for their only Italian date.
The 23 July in Piazza Napoleone it will be the day of the Kasabian which in addition to Lucca will play in Rome and Taormina.
Lucca Summer Festival: how to get there by train
In Lucca you can arrive by train from both Florence and Pisa.
Lucca Station is just a few steps from Porta S. Pietro, one of the city's gates, from which you can easily walk to Piazza Napoleone.

FROM FLORENCE
Take the A11 Firenze-Mare motorway to the Lucca tollbooth (Lucca Est exit).
FROM GENOA
Take the A12 motorway to Viareggio, then proceed on the A11-12 motorway junction to Lucca (exit Lucca East).
FROM MILAN
Motorway A1 to Bologna, then pass on the A15 towards La Spezia (at Parma Ovest) to Viareggio, and then continue on the A11-12 motorway junction to Lucca (Lucca Est exit).
FROM PISA
SS 12 of Abetone and Brennero.
FROM ROME
Take the A1 motorway to Florence, then continue on the A11 to Lucca (Lucca Est exit).
FROM BOLOGNA

Lucca Summer Festival: where to park
This is a nice mess.
The nearest parking is the one in Corso Garibaldi (inside the walls) but finding the place for the days of the Summer Festival is practically impossible. For those arriving from the highway exit a good compromise is to enter the first pay parking after the railroad overpass.
It's called Carducci Parking. From there it is possible to enter the city.
